Came here to suggest Michael Pollan’s oft-repeated quote about how to eat, but another reader beat me to it!

It really is as simple as eating moderate quantities of real, mostly plant-based foods. It’s the healthiest way to eat for our bodies, minds, and planet. Also, stop cutting out food groups because of fad diets! We need carbs and fat (in moderation, of course).
