I try to incorporate physical activity into my vacations. Sometimes that means a lot of walking, but usually I try to find a hotel with a gym or I ask around for good/safe running routes and explore the place I’m visiting on a run. Park benches also make for a very effective strength workout.

I got a lot of strange looks when I told people I had worked out almost daily during a recent family trip to Disney World, but I was much happier and more relaxed with that 30–60 minutes of me time than I would have been otherwise.
