I’ve been on the low-fat train for most of my life (as a child of a dieting mom in the 1980s this is probably to be expected). When I switched to 2% and full fat dairy products a year ago, I noticed that I was able to stay satisfied for longer with the same caloric intake and smaller portions. Since that switch (along with some other small changes), my weight has stabilized for the first time in years and even my cholesterol has gone down significantly. Clearly this is only anecdotal, but it works well for me. And it doesn’t hurt that it tastes so much better as well!
