Thank you for speaking for those of us in this growing population. It’s frustrating how quickly publications will reject this topic, particularly when it feels so need right now.

I’m curious about your word choice, though. Most people who intentionally do not have children prefer “child-free,” rather than “childless.” Childless implies that there is something missing, whereas child-free implies a conscious decision was made. While fertility issues play a role for some, many have made an active and informed choice not to reproduce, so I think language really matters here.
