Thanks for sharing. I think it becomes really difficult when your diet is tied so closely to your identity that making changes becomes antithetical to your values. There’s a great blogger/instagrammer who’s written about similar issues and the process of reintroducing animal products into her diet, that you might find interesting. She received a ridiculous amount of backlash from her followers. Glad to hear your friends didn’t give you a hard time about it.
